Ms. Lower is the Executive Director of the Utah Microloan Fund, a non-profit organization that makes small business loans to businesses that can't qualify for traditional funding. They are the sole SBA Microlender in Utah. She received her B.A. in Economics from the University of Puget Sound and her M.B.A. from Westminster College. She has been in the Micro-Finance/Entrepreneurial training field for over 16 years. Prior to that she was in Corporate Banking. Prior roles have been: Assistant Director for the Utah Microloan Fund, Director of the Women's Business Institute at Salt Lake Community College, and Co-founder/Instructor for Synchrony Bank's Banking on Women program. She lives in Salt Lake City with her husband, Paul and three children: Sasha, Anna, and Eli.
