ORMACO is off to Pittsburgh! Start the morning with muffins and mimosas as we make our way to the Clayton mansion, the historic home of the Henry Clay Frick family and now The Frick Art Museum. Upon arrival we will experience a one hour private docent-led tour that will showcase the fine and decorative arts from the Renaissance to the present and will explain how the Frick family lived during the turn of the 20th century. Explore life in the gilded age, enjoy the car and carriage museum, greenhouse and permanent collection and stroll through the 5.5 acres of lush gardens.
From the Frick we head to the historic Strip District, a thriving and diverse neighborhood with an array of ethnic offerings. Enjoy free time exploring this lively area and lunch on your own.
Hop back on the bus at 3pm for our return trip to Wadsworth as we indulge you with wine and cheese, homemade cookies, chocolates and other snacks. Arrive around 6pm.
Departure is from Buehler’s Wadsworth, 175 Great Oaks Trails.
Price is $88 per person (plus credit card processing fee).
