About World Tour of Music: Terra Australis: Songs from Down Under with Brad Cooper, Tenor

Saturday, April 21, 8 p.m.

Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) wraps up its 2017-2018 season with a special performance by well-known Australian tenor, Brad Cooper. A dynamic performer, equally excited to engage in a wide range of genres, from Opera to Crossover, from Early Music to Romantic and Modern, his show FROM KORNGOLD TO KABARETT has played to packed audiences in Sydney, London, Melbourne and Regional Australia, while his 2015 show, "Don’t Mention the War," enjoyed success at Melbourne Recital Centre’s Spotlight Series and Broken Hill Regional Gallery.

Cooper will showcase some solo tunes, but will also perform with various choir and band ensembles from the Copley-Fairlawn School District, under the direction of Michael Foster, Basil Kochan, and Cristina Wade. The evening will include traditional Australian songs as well as an array of Australian tunes that will be new to US audiences.

Tickets are $12 in advance, available at or by calling 330-722-2541.  They are also available at all Medina County Buehler's stores customer service desks. Tickets will be $15 at the door, cash or check only.
